Overview

The Manager, EE Systems Integration in EE Systems Engineering is responsible to support K1 1.0 and K1 2.0 EE Systems including EE Systems Design and Integration, Component level electrical/EMC/environmental/durability requirements and compliance, and EE Systems Safety Functionalities to ensure the electrical system performance for all vehicle car lines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Electrical Systems Integration team for vehicle electrical systems and provide technical directions to the team and over other engineering departments and suppliers for vehicle electrical systems design and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain Karma Electrical, EMC, and Environmental Requirements Documentations. Make sure EE components meet these requirements. Provide the technical supports to DRE and suppliers on DVPR approval and technical support.
  • Ensure vehicle EMC compliance for all markets.
  • Lead the effort on vehicle system level electrical design based on vehicle electrical architecture, develop the new features based on customer expectation, market trend and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop EE Systems Level DVPR and DFMEA.
  • Coordinate all engineer teams and suppliers to implement the vehicle architectures in electrical, powertrain, and vehicle applications.
  • Make sure the vehicle electrical systems meet ISO26262 vehicle function safety requirements.
  • Study and research on new technologies and involve in early phase of vehicle design and development.
  • Evaluate and recommend options consistent with industry best practices.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (MS or higher degree is prefer) in Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Have at least five (5) year experience for vehicle electrical architecture, system design and engineering management.
  • Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership / teamwork skills and solve issues by developing consensus and win-win situations.
  • Proficiency on ISO 26262 and other vehicle regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge in microprocessor, automotive ECU, electrical / electronic hardware, embedded software
  • Knowledge in automotive vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures including vehicle BUS communications
  • Expert knowledge of systems engineering principles, hardware and software design concepts
  • Demonstrate hands on experience with vehicle system architectures and control systems.
  • Expert knowledge of testing and validation tools
  • Experience with lab test equipment including oscilloscope, receivers, spectrum analyzers, generators, amplifiers and antennas
  • Technical knowledge of product qualification testing
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
