The Service Parts Pricing Analyst analyzes After Sales, Service Parts business process, application support and service parts integrity. Provide process development, improvement and deployment of OE service parts and catalog to the dealer network.  Using processes and tools throughout the parts business including SAP, Smarteam, Excel, Catia, and be familiar working with BOM's.


  • Analyze and research current models and future model years through part data (part number, part description, part price, location, etc.)
  • Work with engineering, purchasing and suppliers to identify and analyze all potential service part information
  • Obtain graphic part data from suppliers and/or engineering to develop service part information
  • Complete business case when applicable to determine the level at which a component will be serviced
  • Utilize graphic part data and business case results to release required service parts
  • Support downstream processes in Purchasing, Parts Catalog, Service Tools, Inventory Control, campaigns, TSB’s, and Remanufacture programs
  • Review and research inquiries to ensure accurate and effective responses, communicating with internal and external resources where needed, and resolving issues independently when possible
  • Manage development and continuous improvement of the service parts process and execution of communication strategies
  • Must maintain knowledge of vehicle technical details and continuously improve on this knowledge
  • Must be able to understand engineering documentation
  • Must be able to evaluate all tasks & apply accurate completion timing
  • Must be able to accept personal responsibility & accountability for assigned tasks
  • Must be able to identify & resolve issues
  • Work with the quality group to address issues and help direct solutions within the team
  • Collaborate with and train internal and dealership personnel on parts portal
  • Create and update KPI reporting and analyze trends for parts movement over time to determine areas of opportunity
  • Initiate continuous improvement opportunities for future enhancements, problem resolution and overall process improvement


Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited School) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in:

·         Business Administration

·         Logistics

·         Economic/Finance

·         Management Information System (MIS)

·         Statistics

·         Proficient in Excel and Power Point

·         Should have 3 + years of experience with a comprehensive knowledge of all levels of retail and or wholesale supply chain with parts supply chain being an advantage

Experience:  Must have 2-4 years (total) of experience in the following:

·      Administration Knowledge of administrative procedures, process/project development, and system procedures.

·      Automotive-Retail Knowledge of retail processes and procedures, with the emphasis in parts, accessories and service.

·      Business Management Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and efficiency and process methods.

·      Finance Knowledge and understanding of the implications of key financial indicators and controls and assessing impact of financial information.

·      Parts and Accessories Knowledge of parts and accessories business, marketing strategies and other business practices.

·      Excellent presentation and communication skills, and significant automotive operational background

·      The ability to understand and translate highly technical engineering information and aid in creation of countermeasures when necessary

·      Resilient and adaptable. Able to maintain a high level of work and professional output in times of change

·      A winning mentality - demonstrates great drive to achieve outstanding results

·      Organization and the flexibility to wear all the appropriate hats when needed.
