The Program Manager is responsible for managing, tracking, leading and supporting Karma projects with efficient and effective program management tools to achieve defined program targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, tracking, leading and supporting Karma’s projects with efficient and effective program management tools to achieve agreed and defined program targets (cost, timing, and quality).
  • Monitoring, leading supporting cross functional topics, timing targets; initiating and supporting necessary meetings to assure timely and effective realization of defined topics & targets
  • Leading, managing, supporting and improving product development process
  • Actively supporting a sustainable cross-functional communication
  • Definition, implementation and improvement of defined project & program targets due effective measuring metrics, tracking of these metrics
  • Supporting the problem management process and activities
  • Monitoring and tracking sustainable time management (MS Project)
  • Improvement of defined product development system and project management methodology (including multi-project management)
  • Continuous improvement of all processes, methodologies and system
  • Assuring that projects achieve defined and agreed targets in timely manner, without increasing costs and decreasing quality
  • Generating reporting, monitoring and presentation materials to effectively communicate the status of initiatives
  • Produce new tracking tools and processes to improve visibility and awareness of project status to management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA in Business Administration, IT or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project and/or program management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive platform and/or chassis engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality or related fields
  • Preferred: PMI or IPM certification
  • Excellent management and organizational skill set
  • Highly structured and methodically working / Self-motivated / Self directed
  • Professional written and oral communications skills
  • Comfortable in roles that require process creation, process optimization and conflict resolution of issues between staffs
  • Able to synthesize information from many inputs and integrate into a focused plan with priorities
  • Excellent understanding of cross-functional working
  • Experienced in working with different cultural environments
  • Good understanding of internal common project management practices / methodology
  • A working knowledge of product development processes, operations and finance
  • Automotive or luxury goods background a plus
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft products, SharePoint
  • Excellent practical knowledge of MS Project
