Reporting to the Manager, VEC Program, the Systems Analyst, VEC Program, is responsible for processing Vehicle Event Case data, systems and tools used by After Market for event processing, problem resolution and response to Customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with After Market, Client Services and Engineering on a daily basis to ensure, timely, accurate and credible information is provided and interpreted.
  • Oversee key project activities including: system configuration testing, benchmarking, test procedure development and system integration.
  • Assist VEC program manager in defining and implementing specific VEC enhancement features and requirements to address complex and varied Manufacturing, Engineering and Service needs.
  • Assist with ongoing system training for users and documentation development as needed.

Qualifications

 

 

Education

  • BS in CS or equivalent experience with 3+ years’ experience and or A.A.S Automotive technology with 5+ years of in field experience

Qualifications

  • Experience with system analysis and issue troubleshooting
  • Experience with remote diagnostic applications development a major plus
  • Experience developing across multiple platforms a major plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start up environment

  • Possess the desire and ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Able to quickly apply the needed actions to support Customer Experience team in decision making concerning customer vehicle issues

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience in automotive systems diagnosis
  • Proficiency with can bus diagnostic tools, CANalyzer, Control-Tec
  • Exposure to various automotive buses CAN, LIN, MOST etc. preferred
  • Experience working with SAP applications a plus
  • Experience with modern development tools: Jira, Confluence, Polarion, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Superior communication and time management skills combined with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Deliver work of superior quality, on time with 100% Customer satisfaction driving all actions
