The Sales Executive will be responsible for fielding inquiries from customers, identifying qualified buyers, understanding and explaining the features and benefits of Karma vehicles and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing clients in accordance with Karma’s customer service standards
  • Fielding inquiries from potential customers electronically, telephonically or in-person with courtesy and professionalism
  • Managing and developing a database of contacts, leads and past customers
  • Deploying a follow-up system that ensures regular contact, keeping customers interested and engaged
  • Representing Karma at events and activities
  • Recommending new sales promotions and marketing campaigns to management
  • Fully understanding the features and benefits of Karma vehicles and being able to explain them in detail to clients
  • Understanding competitive offerings well enough to speak intelligently about them
  • Qualifying prospective customers to make sure the products offered match their needs and desires
  • Closing deals by asking for the sale, overcoming buyers’ objections and negotiating purchase terms
  • Offering financing solutions, service contract and vehicle/lifestyle accessories
  • Maximizing the purchase price of each vehicle and accessory
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Becoming fully proficient with DealerTrack DMS
  • Performing the delivery of sold vehicles
  • Regularly reporting information and data to management

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • 3+ years of retail automotive sales experience, preferably in the luxury segment
  • Experience with DealerTrack dealership management system
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Valid CA drivers license and clean motor vehicle record
