    Responsible for supporting EE-related functions from an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering perspective. This includes deploying new vehicle S/W and managing the functional test units that interface with the vehicle.



    • Work within the Advanced Manufacturing team to streamline and control new vehicle software introductions.
    • Project manage multi-function tool (MFT) updates throughout the General Assembly area.
    • Interface directly with corporate and production EEs to deploy new functional test cases for the current model (K1 1.0) and an upcoming vehicle launch (K1 2.0).
    • Support commissioning and debug of new electrical test units to support K1 2
    • Perform troubleshooting within the assembly areas and at the EOL electrical verification process.
    • Communicate with the product engineering team for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
    • Resolve any electrical function test process bottlenecks whenever possible.
    • Identify improvement opportunities on the K1 1.0 program and liaise with corporate electrical engineers to integrate those lessons learned into the K1 2.0 vehicle testing processes. 



    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or EE Technology
    • Basic electrical engineering disciplines such as circuit diagrams, schematics, etc.
    • Microprocessor, automotive ECU, electrical / electronic hardware, embedded software
    • Automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN)
    • Automotive vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures (e.g., distributed control systems)
    • Systems engineering principles, hardware and software design concepts
    • Automotive electrical system architectures and control systems.
    • Automotive development process (requirements, design, implementation, and validation)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
