    The Vehicle Integration Benchmarking & Weight Intern will support Vehicle Integration and Module Group teams with benchmark vehicle testing and competitive studies.



    • Maintain the vehicle benchmarking database with up-to-date vehicle performance data, features and content, etc.
    • Support vehicle target setting activities with competitive vehicle data
    • Instrument vehicles as needed for testing
    • Translate benchmarking data into meaningful reports for technical and non-technical audiences
    • Support test and validation ride and drives
    • Research and summarize relevant industry innovations and announcements including new vehicles, technical innovations, design trends, feature/content updates, etc.
    • Continuous improvement of benchmarking database

    • Vehicle testing

    • Benchmarking presentations and data interpretation

    • Industry research

    • Manage and maintain benchmarking vehicle(s)





    • Enrolled in a mechanical or electrical engineering program



    • Proficient with desktop software (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)


    • Outstanding attention to detail
    • Passion for automotive
    • Can track multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously
    • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
    • Reliable, innovative, committed self-starter, with a focus on quality
    • Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
    • Possess the desire and ability to learn new technologies
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
    • Possess physical capabilities required for the workload
    • Pssess a valid US driver’s license
