    The IT Analyst (HELPDESK) will provide desktop support for the entire enterprise, both local and remote. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

    May analyze or recommend commercially available software. Be the first line of support for any user accessed system to ensure they have a productive and pleasant user experience. In the Karma environment, our IT Analyst is quite literally the face of Karma IT.  We expect our IT analysts to be professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and adaptable to the company’s dynamics.


    ** This position will work out of our Irvine, CA coprorate office but be requires to travel to our Moreno Valley, CA manufacturing facility as support requirements evolve.  (Mileage reimbursement avaialble as per IRS guidelines). **


    • Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
    • Be the “Face of Karma” and represent the Karma IT team in a professional, courteous and pleasant manner
    • Adhere to Karma Automotive’s service desk SLA’s for incidents and requests
    • Provide services to install, modify or repair computer hardware or software
    • Monitor/Track IT assets and inventory
    • Use client/server, multimedia and internet technology
    • Review and analyze computer reports and performance indicators to help root cause, and correct problems.
    • Recommend new equipment or software packages.
    • Go up 30ft high on a lift to troubleshoot network switches in IDF Cabinets (as needed)
    • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
    • Follow up with customer to ensure issue has been resolved to their complete satisfaction
    • Other tasks as assigned

    • A+ Certification or some college


    Required Experience

    • 3-5  years’ experience providing technical support in a corporate environment



    • Maintain reliable attendance
    • Honesty and Passionate for IT/IS
    • Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Desktop OS level knowledge of Windows
    • Knowledgeable with Desktop Applications
    • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office 2013 Suite of products
    • Basic Knowledge of Server/Client setups and Active Directory
    • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in: Databases, SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Layer 3, Layer 2, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, Mail Servers, Document management systems, Web servers, Remote Desktop, batch scripts, group policy, IPv4, IPv6, Subnets, LAN, WAN, Wireless classifications (AC/N/G/B/A), Wireless security (WPA/WPA2/WEP)
