    The Warehouse Material Delivery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. People management responsibilities include planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.



    • The Warehouse Delivery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including bulk delivery, small parts replenishment, inventory control, lineside sequencing of components and sub assembled components.
    • People management responsibilities include planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
    • Responsible for the on-time delivery of material to the production line with zero defects for a shift production yield of 10 vehicles per day.
    • Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and kitting areas including: ensuring accuracy of sequencing and delivery of incoming material and routing to appropriate area.
    • Ensuring associates are following all scanning procedures for both picking and transferring of material, actively auditing warehouse processes and delivery methods for correct amounts, proper presentation, keeping employees motivated and on task, and overseeing inventory and reconciliation activities.
    • First line supervisor for 10+ team members: Mentors and coaches team on process efficiency, problem identification and implementation of countermeasures.
    • Assesses & adjusts action plans to achieve targeted improvement on an as needed basis.
    • Proactively creates/sets goals, develops action plans, secures resources, and effectively complete projects.
    • Creates and maintaining standard operating procedures & work instructions for all tasks.
    • Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet group demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow. Interpreting company policies to workers enforcing best work practices & safety regulations.
    • Recommending measures to improve safety, quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
    • Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean manufacturing practices.
    • Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of group and individuals tasks.
    • Possess solid time management skills and can demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously without compromising company values/quality.
    • Maintains accurate, prudent, and detailed documentation.
    • Proven ability to assess employees’ capabilities and development needs and contributes to and fosters continuous professional development/career growth.



    • Education & Experience: High school diploma with 3 year proven track record in warehouse experience (including 1+ year of previous supervisory experience), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficient ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, SPEC sheets & procedure manuals.
    • Demonstrated ability to grasp new concept & apply concepts learned to current warehouse design.
    • Proven ability to be decisive on complex situations & understand future ramifications of decisions.
    • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and pragmatic decision-making in critical short-notice situations.
    • Proficient knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders related experience in the automotive industry.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or similar inventory system
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Kronos or similar inventory system
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies
    • Liaison within Karma team and all Tier 1 / 2 and affected Suppliers
