The Chassis Electrical Integration Engineer reports to the Brake Engineering Supervisor. This position is responsible for leading the electrical integration of electronic Chassis systems into the vehicle, including but not limited to Brake Controller, Electric Park Brake, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Electric Power Steering and other features. The Electrical Integration Engineer also assists with Functional Safety development for Chassis Electronic Systems by helping the Chassis Subsystem DRE develop the safety case and HARA analyses and monitoring progress during development. This engineer will also assist with problem diagnosis and resolution. This position is located in our Irvine, CA facility.
The Chassis Electrical Integration Engineer reports to the Brake Engineering Supervisor. This position has the lead for ensuring Chassis Brake Team and other Chassis subsystems with electrical and software requirements integrate safely and seamlessly with the rest of the vehicle. The responsibilities for this position include:
Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable.
