    The Quality Control Supervisor position will lead, coach, monitor and drive actions in the assembly operations to assure our teams, products and process are performing at their best.   Measuring success and driving continuous improvement through hands-on involvement sets the stage for this position, in our ever growing and expanding company.


    • Manage quality inspection activities and assure compliance to specifications and appearance standards.  Implement product quality standards.  Develop operational equipment and containment areas to perform work.
    • Supervise organization members, and support from team members, inspectors, engineers and support groups to assure quality materials are delivered, stored, and applied to the vehicle at the intended quality level.
    • Work with Karma Design Staff, Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), and engineering teams to establish acceptance criteria on critical appearance products. Support deviations sign-off process on area where compromised quality levels are required.  Define and proceduralize the “Deviation Sign-off Process”.
    • Support analysis of returned material from service, warranty or special policy returns.
    • Develop and implement the “Dock to Stock” approval list for suppliers, with needed inspection levels or approvals to move from the Dock to Stock.   In addition, develop the process for inspection to review reworked parts base on deviations (DVT), and internal inspections.
    • Develop a materials “Sweep” process to assure all materials are collected, labeled, and dispositioned on any quality containment activities. 
    • Support coordination of any immediate reworks to support production operations until systems can be established to support on an on-going basis.
    • Coordinate and Supervisor the in-house sorting support (ThyssenKrupp – TK) to assure standards and process to rework/inspect/repair/sort materials meet quality requirements.   Assure cost controls, financial approvals and requisitions are in-place before work is performed.  Verify compliance.
    • Communicate up & down – stream with teams and organizations to gather feedback, and feedforward on product status to assure awareness and actions required.
    • Develop material review list base on supplier performance, risk priority concerns, shipment concerns, and special handling needs to assure a steady flow of quality products are delivered to the assembly operations.
    • Support Material Review Board (MRB) reviews with organization teams to access accountability and responsibility to address issues.  Track and monitor performance.
    • Serve as liaison between engineering, logistics, supplier quality, purchasing and manufacturing organizations, to assure quality of our products, and release levels are compliant, and in accordance to change management.
    • Manage all material containment activities on suspect materials, and supplier requests for General Assembly.
    • Generate corrective action reports and quality alerts to communicate issues to the respective organizations to drive actions with the responsible parties.  Track and monitor performance
    • Follow-up with suppliers to feedback status of findings and drive issue resolution using quality problem solving tools.
    • Support and conduct audits in 5S, Layer Process Audits, and supplier reviews to assure conformance to standards.
    • Create and document major activities by procedures to assure compliance, in accordance to company, industry and regulatory standard


    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
    • Strong Analytical Skills utilizing common and advance quality tools – demonstrated
    • Lean/Quality production system proficiency with demonstrated achievements
    • Minimum 6 years’ experience in OEM Automotive Manufacturing or Quality with leadership roles
    • MS Office proficiency including presentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills and must be comfortable with working with people at all levels of the Organization
    • Proficient in the use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
    • ISO 9001 / TS 16949 audit experience



    • World Class Manufacturing (WCM) preferred, and/or Green Belt I/ Black Belt in Six Sigma
    • Statistical Engineering (Shainin, Red X, Taguchi, etc.) preferred
