    Our Electrical department is currently seeking an Electrical, EMC & Environmental Engineer to Lead efforts to ensure Electrical, Chassis and Powertrain components / systems meet automotive requirements on Electrical, EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) and Environmental/Durability related to EV/HEV/PHEV. Develop the solutions on Electrical & EMC applications.


    • Supervise EE suppliers and assist company DREs (Design Release Engineers) to review and tailor the requirements, DVPR and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) to meet specified product performance for the aspects of Electrical, EMC, and Environmental compliance.
    • Implement the validation process including test plan approval, system design review, tracking status and validation testing. Ensure vehicles meet customers’ expectation and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation to mitigate and control conducted/radiated emissions and susceptibility stimuli.
    • Update the requirements specifications and creation of test reports, procedures, and control plans and guidelines.
    • Manage, directs, and lead the problem resolution and tracking process and provides feedback on status to tracked problems.
    • Must be able to accept personal responsibility and accountability for major analytical and planning assignments.
    • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and solve issues by developing consensus and win-win situations.
    • Evaluates and recommends options consistent with industry best practices.
    • Execute DVP&R, assisting with test setup and fixtures, identifying external testing resources and managing testing through completion.


    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
    • Three or more years of demonstrated progressive responsibility and hands on experience with vehicle system architectures and control systems.
    • knowledge in microprocessor, automotive ECU, electrical / electronic hardware, embedded software, protocols (e.g., CAN), vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures (e.g., distributed control systems).
    • Expert knowledge of systems engineering principles, hardware and software design concepts, (component and vehicle level) testing and validation experience
    • Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans.
    • Knowledge and execution of review and release of functional safety (ISO 26262) requirements, implementation and processes
    • Knowledge and execution of review with change management
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English        
    • Experience with lab test equipment including oscilloscope, receivers, spectrum analysers, generators, amplifiers and antennas
    • Technical knowledge of product qualification testing
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Visio.


    Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the required)

    • Master’s degree in a related field of study
    • Three or more years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
    • Experience in EMI/EMC compliance engineering, specializing in the areas of design & risk mitigation, test, and project management.
