The Organizational Development Manager will use his/her expertise of organizational theories and development to drive the delivery of our corporate goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver a leadership program that aligns with business objectives.
  • Build a framework for driving change and developmental opportunities within the organization.
  • Sustain and evolve the learning and development programs that drive talent development.
  • Drive HR and OD initiatives that include the following:
    • Learning & Development Program execution
    • Talent Assessment & Performance Management
    • Succession Plan
    • Training Needs Assessment
    • Post-training Reinforcement
    • Career Development Program Management
    • Employee Engagement Program
  • Facilitate business conversations for both small and large groups and consult with management and employees regarding organizational issues.
  • Coach managers, teams, and executives.
  • Apply fundamental theories at the heart of OD work, including theories that address systems, change management, learning, group process, and performance.
  • Gather accurate and thorough information with OD assessment tools.
  • Analyze and redesign organization processes and structures.
  • Link OD initiatives to broader corporate goals and measure initiative progress and success.
  • Position design/classification to identify opportunities to broaden responsibilities within job functions.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in an HR/OD function within the automotive industry is required
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate, consult, coach, analyze and manage change
  • Experience and knowledge of core organizational development and learning principals and best practices in driving change
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong network and experience shaping culture and driving employee engagement.
  • OD leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop internal talent
  • Perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as an HR business partner highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 8+ years or experience in HR/OD function within a large global enterprise
  • OD and Master Trainer Certifications in Partners in Leadership, Covey, Korn Ferry, MBTI, DISC, Prosci, ICF, and/or Project Management is highly preferred
