The Manager, ADAS will be managing a team of ADAS engineers. The candidate will be in charge of product development, test, and integration of the ADAS modules/sensors in line with program timing. The activities will start from concept to start of production and post SOP.

Responsibilities

  • ADAS Sensors such as Ultrasound, Camera, Radar, Lidar
  • ADAS Fusion and related topologies
  • ADAS concepts and systems such as ACC, AEB, DMS, FCW, HUD, NVS, TSR, PDS, BSM, LDW, SWCS
  • Automotive grade HW and SW
  • Active Safety
  • All necessary phases and gates related to Automotive Product Development Process
  • Managing a team of ADAS engineers.
  • Managing the budget assigned to the project
  • Managing the product development starting from the concept up to start of production an post SOP In depth study of different ADAS configurations.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest and greatest ADAS technologies and trends.
  • Building a good relationship with potential suppliers.
  • Scheduling weekly PDT meeting with supplier
  • Interfacing cross-functional module groups for a perfect integration
  • Interfacing safety and certification team to make sure release is in accordance to all regulations for all markets.
  • Reviewing/writing the technical specifications and test procedures
  • Estimate effort and meet delivery schedules and quality levels
  • Learn the Karma release process (Change Request) and work with DREs to release parts
  • Review DFMEA/PFMEA and DVP&R
  • Supporting plant personals on any activities at the plant such as calibration and EOL testing process
  • Follow the direction provided by the immediate supervisor and execute the task
  • Attend the department meetings  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 4 years’ ADAS and automotive related experience at either OEM or supplier level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Strong management skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable

 

Advantageous for consideration:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 7 years’ ADAS Module Product Development experience.
  • Experience in Functional Safety Requirements (ISO26262)
  • Good understanding of Automotive Communication Protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MOST, FlexRay
