The Senior Manager, Social & Digital Marketing will build social interest and following on both earned and paid Karma brand channels by managing a collaborative effort to develop, communicate and distribute Karma stories that follow Karma’s brand and creative narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and execution of consumer-facing marketing communications strategies across paid/organic social, digital, influencer, email, website, and third party companies.
  • Design innovative media content executions that build brand/product awareness, improve perception and consideration, and precipitate audience, engagement, site traffic, and subscriber growth for the brand.
  • Build in-house marketing team including functions of social media, paid social, visual marketing, copywriting, digital marketing, community engagement and management, influencer marketing, and operations.
  • Manager both US and China content marketing team to ensure consistency and collaboration between Karma’s dual home markets.
  • Manages the development of key messages for Karma’s centralized brand coordination. 
  • Actively engages with internal communications leaders that interface with employees, government, suppliers, etc. to ensure ‘one voice’ from Karma.
  • Actively engages with Marketing and Communications team to promote collaboration within the overall team and assure aligned, coordinated communications and messaging.
  • Encourages collaborative communication campaigns involving both traditional and internal, social and digital communications teams channels, including creative use of tools and technologies.
  • Hands on role that will manage social and digital media budget and lead small team in achieving department deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in social media and digital marketing including some supervisory experience.
  • Hands on experience with social and digital media.
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated editing skills.
  • Highly motivated individual that can develop creative solutions within limited budgets
  • Understanding of business and financial communications.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands in a fast-moving team environment under constant deadlines. Strong leadership skills.
  • Auto industry media marketing experience preferred. Experience with luxury lifestyles and EV Industry a strong plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable
